How Much does it cost to come? What are the event fees? What is included? What does "All Inclusive" mean?

Modified on Sun, 18 Feb 2024 at 08:12 PM

Your total costs will depends on:

  • The number of nights;
  • How many people in your room;
  • Your chosen room category.

The rates are all inclusive except for airfare, meaning you pay one price for the resort and the event meaning that food, drinks, KC workshops and events, and most resort activities are included free (see below for details and exceptions).

If you have any specific questions feel free to send us an email at support@concations.com and we will walk you through your costs.

2024 Rates are found https://kinkycaribbean.com

Rates are subject to change at any time.

The resort requires a minimum of five nights for their group rates. If this is impossible for you, please email us at support@concations.com or open a ticket and share your situation with us.

These prices reflect your all-inclusive stay at the resort and the costs associated with the event itself. They do not include any extra charges for optional activities and excursions you may choose, your airfare, or your taxi/bus transfer to and from the airport and resort.

WHAT'S INCLUDED -  Rates are all-inclusive, and include:

  •  all food and drinks, including alcohol. Food and drinks are available 24/7 and there are a number of wonderful dining options! See more information on dining here: https://www.hedonism.com/hedonism-resort/dining-drink/. The resort can accommodate most dietary needs and restrictions; contact the resort directly, however, to ensure that your specific needs can be met.
  • all Kinky Caribbean events and workshops other than optional excursions and private instruction.
  • all entertainment and activities offered and included in their normal rates by the resort. See what is currently included and available at here (offerings are subject to change)

Not Included With All-Inclusive Rates:

  • Airfare to Montego Bay

  • Bus/taxi transfers to and from the airport and resort (automatically added to your invoice unless you opt-out).
  • The resort cancellation waiver. This allows you to retain a credit to rebook at the resort if you have to cancel or change your reservation. We highly recommend this (automatically added to your invoice unless you opt-out). The resort cancellation waiver cannot be purchased if you are using a resort credit, however.
  • Anything not included by the hotel, such as spa services or SCUBA certification (but some SCUBA diving IS included if you are already certified), their wine bar, gift shop, espresso bar, etc. See all free and at-cost activities at the resort here.

  • Off-Resort and optional activities like private instruction, sightseeing, day trips, and excursions, such as the waterfall eco hike or kinky catamaran.

  • Airline baggage fees.

  • Other incidentals, like costs associated with passports or travel visa.

Tipping:   There is a no-tipping policy at the resort, so you will not need to account for tips while at the resort; however, you will want to tip non-resort staff such as your bus/taxi drivers and tour guides assisting with excursions if you go on any of our excursions. The guides and bus drivers for the waterfall hike and catamaran will expect tips and they rely on them!

*** CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS ***

  • Deposit payments are non-refundable, but all payments after the deposit are refundable until December 31, 2023 less any cc/convivence fees paid. However, you can obtain the resort's "Change For Any Reason Waiver" which gives you a credit for the room portion of your total invoice and allows you to rebook within a year.  If the resort waiver is not included on your invoice, then you do not have it. You have 7 days to purchase the waiver from your initial booking. You can purchase the wavier here. We highly recommend the same.

  • We highly recommend that you purchase third-party trip cancellation insurance, travel health insurance, and the resort's cancellation waiver.

Payments are non-refundable, but you can obtain the resort's "Change For Any Reason Waiver". If the resort waiver is not included on your invoice, then you do not have it. You have 7 days to purchase the waiver from your initial booking. Concations highly recommends this and that you ALSO purchase third-party trip cancellation insurance and travel health insurance.

NOTE: The change for any reason waiver allows you to reschedule your trip at any time before the day of your arrival without losing your entire investment by covering the room portion of your registration costs. It does not refund any payments that you made. You will be able to use that credit for one year from your original travel dates, but you cannot re-buy the waiver after you re-book. The resort change for any reason waiver is through the resort and Conations is not responsible for it.

Kinky Caribbean reserves the right to refuse registration to anyone or remove anyone from the event to anyone at any time for any reason without refund. All attendees must sign a waiver to attend Kinky Caribbean events, which is subject to change. Please review the waiver before paying your invoice. If you do not agree, please do not complete your registration. Registration and attendance at the event are subject to the full terms and event rules. Rates, event schedule, dates, presenters, workshops, programming and any and all other aspects of the event are subject to change at any time.

Airfare

  • Purchase your own airfare at any time (we recommend as soon as you get your invoice and pay for it so that you get best rates). Airfare is not included in any packages or plans.

  • Airfare from most North American cities is currently around $400-$800 round trip.

Airport / Resort Transportation:

  • Your booking does not include transportation to and from the airport; however we will book that for you! Round-trip transfers are $60.00 per person and are available through Tom's Trip's when booking. You need this to get to the resort from the airport and back (the resort is about 1.5 hours from the airport) The transfer will be automatically added to your invoice unless you opt out on your application.

Passports:

  • Passports are required. Please do not wait to get or renew a passport as it can sometimes take months. Make sure your passport is not going to expire during your travel!

  • NOTE: Make sure your booking info on your event reservation matches your passport exactly. TSA (Transportation Security Administration) can deny boarding if they do not match exactly and the resort also needs an exact match for check-in.

  • Make sure your event registration information matches your passport as the resort will check this upon arrival, and a discrepancy may cause issues at check-in.

Travel Health and trip cancellation Insurance (highly recommended):

  • While the resort has a nurse available or can refer you to a local doctor for routine health issues, your medical insurance will likely not cover medical expenses in Jamaica. A serious matter involving medical evacuation or long-term injury could be extremely costly (often $30,000+).

  • Plans are available through private companies like travelsafe and United Healthcare. See more info https://www.tomstrips.com/travel-insurance/.

  • Kinky Caribbean is not responsible for your travel insurance, medical needs or injuries while traveling.
